On Monday, 26 May 2025, the city of Setúbal hosted the official delivery of 20 new Volkswagen Amarok vehicles to the Instituto de Socorros a Náufragos (ISN).
All vehicles are now equipped with Quatenus technology, enabling real-time GPS monitoring, better control, and enhanced safety in life-saving operations.
This event is not just about fleet renewal. It symbolises twelve years of collaboration built on trust, innovation, and a shared mission to protect lives.
Quatenus’ role in supporting ISN goes beyond supplying devices. It provides strategic value. Each connected vehicle allows for:
In emergencies where every second counts, full fleet visibility makes a critical difference.
Portugal’s coastline is vast and dynamic. From beaches and ports to remote access zones, ISN’s work demands speed, coordination and reliable equipment.
With these vehicles fully integrated into the Quatenus system, ISN can respond faster and more efficiently — reinforcing national coastal safety for residents and tourists alike.
This delivery is a source of pride for Quatenus. Not just for the technical achievement — but for the real-world difference our technology makes every day.
Twelve years in, our conviction remains unchanged:
Protecting lives is the greatest benefit technology can offer.
